'The Artist at work'

Here is a great pic of me making up actress Amanda Gordan for 'All the Children are Sleeping', hopefully she is laughing at my joke not the makeup effect!! More pics coming soon from this film...Pic was taken by the very fabulous Jo Mapp

'Neil Gorton Seminar'

I attended Neil's Seminar on silicone prostetics on Sunday! It was a really good day and I'm really pleased I went on it! We also got a tour of the studio, and I must admit I was very excited by seeing the 'Doctor Who' Abzorbaloff's maquette! I can't wait to get some silicone and have a play...

'True to Form'

Here are some photo's of the Make-up from 'True to Form'. More info coming soon!!

'O how I love being a Make-up Artist!!'

Here is a fantastic photogragh of Actor Steve Pound, during filming for 'All the Children are Sleeping'! It really is a hard life making up such handsom Actors!!!Pic taken by Alex Bailey

'All the children are Sleeping'

I have just returned from filming a feature in Penzance, Cornwall for Emmaus road films. It was such a fantastic crew and there were some really fun effects!!Will Post lots of pics soon, but meanwhile here's one of a wound make-up I did on actor Chris Bell

'Test Make-up Fun'

I had to practice some designs for an up coming film, so my mother willingly modelled for me!

'ITV Promo'

Been shooting a Promo for ITV today, it was great fun. Make-up was just natural, but I was kept busy keeping the shine off the Actors in the heat!!

'Cosima Shaw'

Here is a lovely Pic of Actress Cosima Shaw, in a very natural Make-up. She looked absolutely stunning in this scene, for 'Ana Begins'!

Steve Huison

Whilst filming 'Ana Begins' Steve made it very difficult for me to take a nice photograph of him, always joking around and pulling faces! I think this pic I took, with out him realising is just fabulous, he has such a wonderful face and is a great actor!

'Channel 5 Birthday Celebrations'

Just finished shooting for Channel 5''s Birthday Celebrations! We had a fun few days, making this comedy short, starring Steve Furst and Alison Newman.

'Resting my over worked Make-up bag'!!

Here's me on Location for 'Ana Begins', we filmed a lot of scenes at Lee Beach, in Devon! It was so Cold, so I took the opportunity between takes to snuggle down and give my make-up bag a well earned rest!!

'Ana Begins'

I have been in Parracombe, North Devon for a month filming Ana Begins for Crooked Films. It has been a lot of fun, although I am pleased to return to London where the shops supply Red Bull!! It was mainly straight makeup, but I had great fun creating a 'just about to drop dead' make-up for a character with cancer. There were also a lot of scenes outside in some extreme weather conditions, trying to keep the principles (Cosima Shaw and Steve Huison) looking matt in the snow was a chore!!See my website for more pics, below 'Actor Ron Hart before Make-up', 'Near Death Makeup', 'Cosima Shaw&Steve Huison' and 'me as an extra'!

'The Leafcatcher'

I have just finished a short, 'The Leafcatcher' directed by Leo Sedgley. It was a really hard shoot, as we were filming in a 'soup kitchen' in Clapham amongst lots of homeless people. I was totally over whelmed by the experience, which has left me wanted to find some time to help out! The make-up was lots of fun!

'Person to Persian'

I have just finished 'Person to Persian' for director Adam Alive.

Pics coming soon

'Mine'

Just Returned from Yorkshire, where I have been shooting a short 'Mine' for Bison Grass Films. I stayed in this amazing Farm cottage, which was great. Although we didnt seem to get much chill out time! This was a great film, and very Organic! Directed by Lucas Jedrzejak who was a real pleasure to work with. The effects were a lot of fun, I had to make actress Saskia Fischer look like she was frozen for one scene and make-up a wound, that a heart came from on actor James Macartney in another!

'Almost Human'

I have just returned from the States, where I have been travelling around for the last month! I dropped into Almost human, LA on route and met up with Robert Hall and his studio crew! They were working on a huge fat suit for a T.V show, it was great to see them in action! Rob was also doing a test Make-up for an aging Make-up whilst I was there...I also headed to the LA trade show in Pasadena, where it was good to see Neil Gorton doing a demo!!There were lots of the best Make-up Artists in the industry doing demo's and talks, the museum was fab, it had the original 'Planet of the Apes' Prosthetics on display!!!

'Orange People'

Have just finished shooting 'Orange People' for Director Waheed Khan. Had a great time working on it and the effects were alot of fun! Lead Character 'Mandy', played by Katy Palmer is a Tan-anorexic!!

Check out the Orange make-up:-

There was also a small gelatine prosthetic mole, Actor Chris Adamson, playing 'The Grey man' wore:-
